YouTube is taking back top billing at VidCon. It will serve as the title sponsor for VidCon’s main event, which will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on June 21, 2023.
2023 will be YouTube’s eighth year as the title sponsor of VidCon’s flagship gathering. The platform previously held that distinction between 2013 and 2019. In 2022, after a three-year hiatus, VidCon returned to Anaheim with TikTok as its title sponsor. The video app was also slated as the sponsor of VidCon 2021 before that edition of the convention was canceled due to COVID-19.
Though YouTube was not the title sponsor of VidCon in 2022, it still had a strong presence at the event. At the YouTube Shorts Drive-Thru, guests picked up snacks inspired by influencers and giveaways from MrBeast‘s Feastables brand. That activation was spearheaded by the YouTube Marketing team in order to promote YouTube’s TikTok-esque format.

This year, YouTube will attempt to provide more creator-themed experiences for VidCon attendees. The platform’s agenda includes a keynote address on the convention’s Industry Track and programming across all three tracks.

As we continue to provide pathways for success in today’s thriving creator economy, we look forward to celebrating the magic of YouTube and the future of content creation in Anaheim this summer.”
Alongside its title sponsor reveal, VidCon has also added 25 notable names to the list of featured creators that will attend this summer’s gathering. That list of creators includes:

Those attendees will join the featured creators who have already been announced, including Drew Afualo, SeanDoesMagic, and GeorgeNotFound.
VidCon 2023 will take over the Anaheim Convention Center from June 21 to June 24. Tickets, which start at $55, are available on the Paramount-owned company’s website. 2023 will be a big year for VidCon: In addition to the usual festivities in California, there will also be an inaugural VidCon event in Baltimore.
