Weeks after losing Keenan Cahill and Ken Block, the online video community has suffered another loss. Taylor LeJeune, the TikTok gourmand who was known as Wafffler69, has passed away.
LeJeune’s brother, Clayton Claydorm, announced the death on his own TikTok account. Taylor died on January 11 at a hospital in Louisana from a “presumed heart attack.” He was 33.
“Please keep his legacy alive. Watch his content that he does put out,” Clayton said in his video. “Keep him alive. He loved making people happy.”

In his Wafffler69 videos, LeJeune tried all sorts of weird foods, ranging from Dollar Tree snacks to military rations to Shaq-themed candy bars. His gastronomic adventures proved popular on TikTok, where he earned 1.8 million followers and more than 33 million likes across all of his videos.
LeJeune’s fans and creative colleagues have used his final video — a review of giant-sized Froot Loops — as a de facto vigil. “I am devastated,” wrote fellow TikToker Stefan Johnson. “This was a good guy. A damn good guy. Rest up bro.”

Johnson has also contributed $500 to a GoFundMe campaign set up by Clayton. So far, the initiative has raised more than $13,000 to cover funeral and medical expenses.
Despite the sadness of LeJeune’s passing, his brother is celebrating the role TikTok played in Taylor’s life. “My brother was usually always alone, and he made it on TikTok by himself and was surrounded by people who truly mourn for his loss,” Clayton said. Our condolences go out to LeJeune’s family and friends.
