A new merch line pairs up YouTube supergroups to sell ‘Cold Ones’ with ‘The Boys’

The hosts of the podcast Cold Ones are selling sweatshirts alongside vlog quintet The Boys, and the catchphrase writes itself.

The ‘Cold Ones with The Boys‘ hoodies were born out of a pact between the two groups and Warren James. The merchandising firm, which announced a $6 million Series A round a month ago, partners with influential creators to deliver unique e-commerce brands. Its latest product features a loud color scheme to match the rambunctious identity shared by the two channels.

Cold Ones is hosted by Anything4Views and maxmoefoe. The two Australian creators — also known for collaborations with iDubbbz — started their series as a podcast, but it has since evolved to include some vlog-style content. Cold Ones puts an intoxicating spin on a different YouTube show with a temperature-based name. Instead of using wings to turn up the heat, the Cold Ones hosts get increasingly drunker as their videos go on.

The other creators involved in the new merch line are no strangers to alcohol themselves, so the phrase printed on the sweatshirts will definitely be a fitting slogan for this collaboration. The principal members of The Boys — Mully

, JoshDub, EddieVR, JuicyFruitSnacks, and Your Narrator — created gaming and reaction videos together before launching a dedicated channel for their shared adventures.

“We are very excited to join forces with The Boys and their merchandise partner to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind piece that perfectly embodies our shared spirit of organized chaos,” reads a statement attributed to Cold Ones. “Designed in partnership with our friends at Cool Shirtz, and brought to life by Warren James, the quality and artistry of this limited edition hoodie is second to none, and we’re proud to have it mark the occasion for this long-anticipated collaboration between our channels.”

The collaboration mentioned in that quote includes two videos uploaded on October 1. In the clip embedded above, the two groups united to play some terrible drinking games. Meanwhile, on The Boys’ channel, the Cold Ones crew stopped by to sample some poorly-rated food.
