Victoria’s Secret has recruited a TikToker and curve model — known for her realistic clothing hauls — to participate in a yearlong brand partnership.
Remi Bader, who counts 2 million followers, will serve as a brand ambassador and size consultant for the Victoria’s Secret sub-brand Pink as it seeks to roll out to larger sizes, WWD reports. Pink’s swimwear category will now go to size XXL, with intimates and apparel to follow next month. (Previously, WWD notes, these sizes were only available online).
Bader will also be involved in live events, curate favorite styles, and provide product-testing insights. She will also serve as a judge on the Pink With Purpose panel – a brand initiative that recognizes young people seeking to instill change within their communities.
“We love how Remi uses her platform to push the boundaries and make real change,” Pink CEO Amy Hauk told WWD. “We’re always striving to improve as a brand and ensure our customers feel empowered and confident in our products.”
“I’m really honored to work with the team to help young adults embrace their bodies and be an honest voice for the amazing community I’ve built,” Bader added.
Amid a re-brand of sorts last summer, Pink parent company Victoria’s Secret replaced its long-running fleet of angels with a slew of spokesmodels who are plus-size, transgender, and hail from diverse backgrounds, including Emira D’Spain, Eileen Gu, Megan Rapinoe, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Bella Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, Valentina Sampaio, Hailey Bieber, and Naomi Osaka.
