Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, co-hosts of the long-running and family-friendly YouTube morning show Good Mythical Morning, are exploring a raunchier side of their humor with a one-night-only livestreaming event dubbed Good Mythical Evening.
The R-rated broadcast will see the guys taking classic GMM sub-series and segments and adding swear words, alcohol, sex, and other components that may not be deemed brand- or ad-friendly. While GMM is known for being relatively tame, McLaughlin and Neal say that fans have been clamoring to see a more mature side of their shared sense of humor for years.
Good Mythical Evening will take place on Oct. 28 at 10 pm ET. Tickets are available here through streaming platform Looped. Members of the Mythical Society — the guys’ subscription service — can purchase beginning Sept. 24, while general sales open on Sept. 30. Multiple packages will be available, including merch and access to pre- and post-shows, ranging from $20 to $50.
Season 20 of GMM premiered last week, and McLaughlin and Neal celebrated their 2000th episode in July. In January, the show will turn 10 years old. All told, parent company Mythical’s owned and operated YouTube channels have amassed 75 million subscribers and 25 billion lifetime views.
