Kevin Hart’s ‘LOL’ Names Folayo Lasaki Head Of Marketing, Stephen Loguidice Head Of Brand Partnerships

Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud digital comedy brand has hired two key execs amid healthy growth throughout the pandemic, the company says, during which time it inked distribution deals with Sirius, Peacock, Pluto, and Roku.

Folayo Lasaki has been named LOL’s head of marketing and communications, while Stephen Loguidice has been appointed head of brand partnerships. Both Loguidice and Lasaki will report to LOL president and COO Thai Randolph.

Lasaki arrives at LOL from Rainn Wilson’s inspirational digital brand SoulPancake. In her new role, she will oversee LOL’s brand, content, social media marketing, communications, and strategic marketing partnerships. Loguidice, a BuzzFeed alum, will harness his expertise to scale new revenue streams while bringing in new brand partners, adding to existing sponsors like Lyft, P&G, Old Spice, Amazon, and Hydrow.

“Having scaled billion-dollar businesses and overseen dozens of large, strategic deals with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 brands, Stephen joins to drive innovation in LOL’s brand partnerships,” Randolph said in a statement. “Folayo leverages her entertainment, consumer, and trade marketing experience to further our multi-platform business model — both with the mission to amplify our ‘Comedy in Color’ programming strategy and keep the world laughing together.”

LOL comprises four key divisions: digital studio LOL Network, which is home to Hart’s hit YouTube show Cold As Balls; LOL Studios, which creates content for partners like Netflix and Quibi; radio, podcasts, and audiobooks unit LOL Audio; and live events division LOL X.
