Beauty Vloggers Manny MUA, Laura Lee To Launch ‘Fool Coverage’ Podcast At Studio71

Multi-channel network Studio71 has nabbed noted beauty vloggers Manny ‘MUA’ Gutierrez and Laura Lee for a new podcast titled Fool Coverage.

Launching later this summer, the series will see the two best friends chatting about what’s happening in their lives and across the digital space, from friendship to being cancelled to founding of their own respective beauty brands. Gutierrez, who counts 4.9 million subscribers, helms Lunar Beauty, while Lee, with 4.6 million subscribers, is the founder of Laura Lee Los Angeles.

In honor of Pride Month, Studio71 noted that it has several other shows on the horizon fronted by LGBTQ+ hosts, including The Faking Of with pop culture commentator Nick DiRamio, Unfazed and Unbothered with Tasia and Camo, and an untitled podcast from drag performers Jinkx Monsoon and the stand-up comedian Nick Sahoyah, which launches in August.

Studio71 helps creators expand their reach across platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and also connects shows with over 200 advertising partners. The network’s stable of shows has increased total streams by 100% year-over-year, it says.

“The Studio71 podcast network is proud to support diverse, young hosts, and we’re thrilled with the success of our LGBTQ+ and drag shows,” Stephen Perlstein, Studio71’s VP of podcasts said in a statement. “We are always excited to work with creators who are raising the bar and the network is looking forward to launching a number of great shows this summer.”
