This year, VidCon is switching up the way it presents case studies (and taking advantage of the fact that it’s not occurring at the same time as Cannes Lions).
Rather than having several spread-out sessions where brands present the best of the best in social and video influencer campaigns, this year’s convention is hosting Six-Minute Case Studies: one hour-long, rapid-fire program featuring seven brands, including Netflix, Microsoft, Chipotle, and Electronic Arts.
“Overall, the objective for VidCon is to have a consolidated session to highlight some of the year’s best work, as chosen by industry peers who sit on the VidCon board,” Gabe Gordon — cofounder of Reach Agency, VidCon board member, and host of Six-Minute Case Studies — tells Tubefilter. “We are looking to showcase creative thinking, innovation, and effectiveness.”
During the session, executives from featured brands and agencies will present and (briefly) speak about their successful campaigns.
Six-Minute Case Studies runs on VidCon’s second day, July 11, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the Breakthrough Stage.
