After partnering with indie beauty upstart Nudestix, YouTube and Snapchat star Summer McKeen is joining forces with mass cosmetics brand Maybelline on a limited edition lip gloss collection collaboration.
Six summer-themed glosses — a nod to McKeen’s name, and inspired by her easy-going, surfer-style approach to beauty — are available at Walmart stores today, and are also available for preorder at Walmart.com, according to Allure, where they will officially drop on July 15. The highly pigmented, shimmery glosses tout names like Barefoot (pink), Heatwave (berry), Sun Kissed (rose gold), and Tan Line (dark nude). Each is priced at $6.
“This collection is something I know will resonate with my fans,” Mckeen told Allure in a statement. “I’m always on-the-go, so my beauty routine needs to reflect that. Lip gloss is a must for me, and any of the beautiful shades from my collection are perfect to just toss in my bag and go.”
Twenty-year-old McKeen, who headlines the Snapchat reality series Endless Summer, counts 2.4 million YouTube subscribers and 2.3 million Instagram followers.
