Rooster Teeth has released the trailer for the second season of Hardcore Tabletop: World Series, an unscripted competition that reimagines an ordinary Monopolgy game into a high-stakes competition with actual cash and a real-life jail.
The second season of the series, which is part of Rooster Teeth’s Achievement Hunter comedy gaming brand, will bow on Rooster Teeth’s eponymous streaming service on April 10. Season two will see the following competitors vying for a cash prize of $20,580: Alfredo Diaz of Achievement Hunter (who won last year), Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller; Funhaus’ Bruce Greene, actor Dante Basco (Hook, Avatar The Last Airbender), and streamers Chilled Chaos and Criken. Rooster Teeth personality Geoff Ramsey will host, Michael Jones will act as the bailiff, and Jack Pattillo
will serve as referee.Rooster Teeth is a subsidiary of Otter Media, which is owned by AT&T, and counts a collective 45 million YouTube subscribers and five million people who are registered to its website. Late last year, a reorganization saw Otter fold its direct-to-consumer brands — including Rooster Teeth — into its existing Ellation division, which already houses anime streaming service Crunchyroll and geek-centric VRV.
