YouTube Design Duo ‘Mr. Kate’ Headed To HGTV For Home Makeover Pilot (Exclusive)

Mr. Kate, the YouTube creator duo comprising married home design duo Kate Albrecht and Joey Zehr, are set to parlay their online fame onto linear TV.

The couple will premiere a pilot titled Help My House! on HGTV this weekend, which the Discovery-owned network says has the potential for a full-fledged series pick-up. While Albrecht and Zehr rose to fame by making over the homes of top YouTube creators like Liza Koshy, The Dolan Twins, and Colleen Ballinger, in Help My House! they will be surprising an everyday family who have agreed to give them total creative control over the process. In the first episode, for instance, the duo will surprise working parents Trifari and Hashim Williams

with a five-room makeover.

The series is being produced by 51 Minds Entertainment, a division of Endemol Shine North America, and will debut this Saturday at 2 p.m.
