YouTuber Brandon Rogers Is Going All-Out In His New Podcast ‘Deep Balls’ (Exclusive)

Star YouTuber Brandon Rogers is taking his comedy skills to a new medium. Rogers, who calls himself “an ambassador for the weird side of YouTube,” and is fresh off winning this year’s comedy Streamy Award, will launch the first five episodes of his new podcast Deep Balls with Brandon Rogers this Sunday.

Billed as a “late-night podcast” and, like many of Rogers’ YouTube videos, labeled with an all-caps “OFFENSIVE,” Deep Balls will cover everything from “topical discussions like ‘love and poop’” to movie reviews, upcoming project announcements, sketches, and guest interviews, Rogers says.

“I’m pumped to finally be releasing my podcast Deep Balls with my cameraman Gabriel Gonzalez, and my producer Jonathan Hinman,” he tells Tubefilter. “Each episode we will dive deep into a variety of different topics and share some darkly comedic points of views in this even darker reality.”

Some of those aforementioned guest interviews will involve Gonzalez and Hinman grilling Rogers — in character, of course, as some of the most memorable personalities from his YouTube channel, like hater-of-all Grandpa

, flamboyant motivational speaker Sam, and wildly overconfident fashion designer Jürgen.

Deep Balls is being self-produced by Rogers and his team. The first five episodes will be available Oct. 28 on his website as well as on all podcast sites, including iTunes, Spotify, and Stitcher. The team will release one hour-long episode per week thereafter.

Rogers is currently on his Brandon Rogers Live comedy tour, which will stop in Englewood, Colo., and Austin, Texas, before concluding Nov. 25 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. His comedy has been recognized by the Just For Laughs festival, where he was named a new creator to watch. You can check out the acceptance speech from his Streamy Awards win below:
