Gavin Free, one half of YouTube’s The Slow Mo Guys and a frequent Rooster Teeth collaborator, has new management.
Thirty-year-old Free, who previously wasn’t repped by a talent firm, has partnered with boutique talent management and production company Ziggurat XYZ, which is based in the U.K. Free, who hails form the U.K. but currently resides in Austin, Texas, will be personally managed by Ziggurat founder Charles Haynes.
The Slow Mo Guys have amassed a collective 1.5 billion views and 13.5 million followers across all platforms on the strength of their snacky science-oriented videos showcasing action-packed events in slow motion. Free and co-host Daniel Gruchy
and are currently filming season two of The Super Slow Show — an ad-supported YouTube Original. “The first eight years of The Slow Mo Guys were class,” Free said in a statement. “Charles is going to help make sure the next eight are even more ridiculous.”Ziggurat XYZ was established in 2016, and is based in Northampton. The agency focuses on creators who produce fact-based content, including chefs, carpenters, gardeners, seamstresses, and roboticists. Its roster includes handymen James Bruton and Ivan Miranda, and magician Steven Bridges.
