YouTube Premium has shared the trailer for Sugar — the Adam Levine-produced series in which top musicians will surprise unsuspecting fans who have given back to their communities in inspiring ways.
The series — which debuts on Aug. 15 on Maroon 5’s YouTube channel — will also feature surprise performances from Blake Shelton, Snoop Dogg, Charlie Puth, Kelly Clarkson, A$AP Ferg, Fifth Harmony, and Bad Bunny. The eight-episode run was inspired by Maroon 5’s music video for “Sugar,” in which the band surprised various couples with impromptu performances at their weddings. Sugar is produced by YouTube, Levine’s 222 Productions
, and Renegade 83 (Naked And Afriad).The show will spotlight the founder of a wheelchair dance group, as well as other altruistic figures who have endured hardships and turned to the music of the aforementioned artists as a salve.
