Matthew Santoro Fetes 100th Episode Of ‘50 Amazing Facts’ Series With Star-Studded Video

Back in 2013, Canadian YouTuber Matthew Santoro launched a series on his channel titled 50 Amazing Facts To Blow Your Mind. In each episode of the highly-viewed show, Santoro shares compelling trivia tidbits — such as the fact that being struck by lightning heats skin to a temperature that’s hotter than the surface of the sun.

Now, roughly four-and-a-half years after the show’s launch, Santoro is feteing 100 episodes of 50 Amazing Facts — meaning that he has furnished 5,000 mind-blowing facts to date — with a star-studded episode featuring YouTube luminaries like Rhett & Link, Thomas Sanders, Matthew Patrick, Teala Dunn, Lilly Singh, and iJustine. (In the video, each of the 50 facts is delivered by a notable YouTube creator).

When Santoro, 33, first launched 50 Amazing Facts, he hit 100,000 subscribers, he says — “which absolutely blew my mind at the time. And now I’m at 6.1 million subscribers, and it still just absolutely amazes me how far that we’ve come together, and how much my life has changed — all because of you guys.” In addition to 50 Amazing Facts, Santoro regularly posts infotainment listicles on his channel, which has clocked a collective 1.2 billion lifetime views to date.
