Top talent firm Abrams Artists Agency (AAA) — which reps noted social stars like Joshua Ovenshire, How To Cake It, and Mystic Got Jokes — has named Jade Sherman VP of its digital media division, effective immediately. Sherman was formerly an agent within the company’s alternative programming and digital media department.
In her new role, Sherman will be missioned with continuing to grow the agency’s digital department and aiding its existing roster. Sherman, who joined AAA from sports agency MVP Sports Group three years ago, will report directly to Alec Shankman — Abrams’ SVP and head of alternative programming, digital media, licensing, and branding. She will also work in close tandem with the agency’s New York-based digital team.
“Jade is an avid proponent of cross-collaboration between our digital and traditional clients and departments,” AAA founder and CEO Harry Abrams said in a statement, “and has the leadership qualities that provide guidance and mentorship to rising agents within our digital team.”
At MVP, Sherman worked with professional athletes to help monetize their social media posts. At AAA, Sherman has collaborated with various influencers in business development, and negotiated deals that that have resulted in both digital and linear series as well as endorsements and brand launches within the beauty space.
