Corinne Leigh and Rob Czar are bringing their hand-crafted brand of digital entertainment to YouTube Red. The husband-and-wife duo behind the long-running ThreadBanger channel are behind Do Or DIY, a program that arrived on YouTube’s subscription service on May 9.
Through long-running series like Man Vs. Pin, ThreadBanger has shown its 3.8 million YouTube subscribers how to craft (sometimes) useful gadgets. In their YouTube Red show, Leigh and Czar are taking on projects of unprecedented scale. In the pilot episode, which arrived on YouTube Red just before Mother’s Day, Leigh and Czar team up to make a giant DIY birthday cake for Leigh’s grandmother in order to celebrate her 80th birthday.
Do Or DIY is one of several shows Leigh and Czar are using to keep their fans engaged as they head into their 13th year as one of YouTube’s most iconic duos. They also recently completed a series called Man Vs. House, in which they documented their process as they fixed up an old house.
A subscription to YouTube Red costs $9.99 per month.
