Mother Of 9-Year-Old Instagram Star Lil Tay Loses Job Due To Daughter’s Foul-Mouthed Videos

By taking a page out of the Bhad Bhabie playbook, a nine-year-old Instagram and YouTube trash-talker named Lil Tay is causing quite the stir on social media — and it turns out that her antics may hold real-life consequences for those in her orbit.

Lil Tay, who has never revealed her real name, has amassed 1.8 million followers on Instagram and 167,000 subscribers on YouTube, where she curses like a sailor while bragging about her alleged wealth — tossing around stacks of cash and driving expensive cars. “I ain’t even got a license, but I dropped 400 racks on this car, bitch,” she shrieks in her latest clip, before kicking the vehicle — and leaving a dent — to prove it isn’t rented. Lil Tay has collaborated with fellow YouTube bad boy Jake Paul (below), and at 10 million followers, according to her Instagram bio, vows to get a face tattoo.

If some viewers were tickled by her foul-mouthed bravado, it turns out that Lil Tay’s mother’s employer — the Vancouver real estate firm Pacific Place Group

— was not amused. Angela Tian, a former realtor at the company, has been let go due to her her daughter’s videos. “As of last week Angela is no longer attached with our firm,” its director of business development, Jim Lew, told The Verge. “Our firm does not condone this type of behavior and has no place for this in our business.”

Tian had previously intimated that some viewers simply “don’t get the joke” and explained that her teenage son was actually the creative force behind the videos — which she described as “comedy” and “acting,” according to The National Post.

Regardless, if Lil Tay continues on her current trajectory, Tian’s real estate career may have been an inconsequential loss. Fifteen-year-old Danielle Bregoli, for instance — with whom Lil Tay had a highly-publicized altercation last month — has forayed her viral trash-talking appearance on The Dr. Phil Show into a flourishing rap career under the moniker Bhad Bhabie.
