YouTube’s favorite a cappella band, Pentatonix, is set to embark on a national tour this July to celebrate the release of a brand new album, PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I.
The full tracklist for the project, which is slated to drop on April 13, has yet to be revealed — though the group released a cover of Camila Cabello’s “Havana” earlier this week, which will ostensibly serve as the first single. A subsequent tour is slated to hit 39 cities in the U.S. and Canada through September. Tickets officially go on sale March 9, but an exclusive presale will be available soon on the group’s official website, where you can also check out the full list of stops.
The summer tour is Pentatonix’s second outing to feature new member Matt Sallee following the departure of former bass vocalist Avi Kaplan last May. It’s also the group’s second album to feature the new configuration, with Pentatonix’s most recent Christmas offering marking Sallee’s debut. PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol I is the Grammy-winning group’s fifth album to date. Previous releases include: PTX Vols. 1 & 2, PTX, That’s Christmas To Me, Pentatonix, and A Pentatonix Christmas.
