Two Top Fullscreen Execs Join Otter Media’s Senior Management Team

Otter Media, the joint digital media venture formed by AT&T and The Chernin Group in 2014, has announced a slew of new hires following the appointment of CEO Tony Goncalves last week.

Andy Forssell (above, left) has joined otter as COO, Sean Kisker has been named chief strategy officer, Jennifer Cho will serve as CFO, and Alan Beard (above, right) has been named chief brand officer. The new quartet of C-suite execs hails from both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds, and will be tasked with growing Otter’s portfolio, which already includes Fullscreen, Rooster Teeth, Crunchyroll, VRV, Gunpowder & Sky, and Hello Sunshine.

Forssell most recently served as COO of Fullscreen, where he oversaw day-to-day operations and led product development, while Kisker arrives at Otter from Lionsgate Entertainment

, where he previously served as chief strategy officer. Cho most recently served as CFO of AT&T Entertainment Group’s technology and operations division, while Beard co-founded the social media creative agency McBeard, which was acquired by Fullscreen in 2015. Prior to joining Otter, Beard served as Fullscreen’s CMO.

“Andy, Sean, Jennifer, and Alan each bring a strong point of view, knowledge and vast experience,” Goncalves said in a statement. “This exceptional team will lay a solid foundation for us to continue to build and evolve Otter’s leadership in the digital media space.”

Otter says its digital properties reach 90 million unique monthly viewers, and that its content clocked 100 billion views in 2017.
