RTX, the annual gaming and internet culture conference hosted by Rooster Teeth, has announced a breakout event next month dubbed RTX Presents: Live From Austin!
At the gathering, to be held from Feb. 19 to Feb. 23, Rooster Teeth will record four of its top podcasts live from The Sunset Room in downtown Austin. Tickets, starting at around $35, are available here. One podcast will be recorded over the course of four consecutive evenings, including RT Podcast, Always Open, On The Spot, and Off Topic. On the fifth night of the event, Rooster Teeth will host a community meetup that will also serve as a birthday celebration for performer Gus Sorola.
Rooster Teeth says its podcasts have amassed an audience of millions — with its flagship RT Podcast averaging 500,000 views and downloads per episode.
RT Podcast is hosted by Burnie Burns and Sorola, while Always Open is billed as a chat show version of sitting at a diner booth with your best friends. On The Spot pits two teams against one another in a variety of improv games, while Off Topic sees hosts Michael Jones and Geoff Ramsey discussing life’s important questions.
