Lele Pons is having a moment.
After being featured prominently in YouTube’s most recent Rewind video and also being named by Instagram as the most-watched Stories producer of 2017, the 21-year-old Venezuela-born social media starlet has signed with talent agency WME for representation in all areas. WME notes that Pons’ fluency in Spanish, English, and Italian makes her an especially global star.
Pons, who counts 20.5 million Instagram followers and 6.3 million YouTube subscribers, initially rocketed to fame on Vine for her raucous comedy videos. More recently, however, she has been taking on projects in the music space — including co-starring in a high-profile Camila Cabello
music video and posting choreography videos on Instagram — and will likely release a single of her own sometime soon. Pons was named a brand ambassador for CoverGirl in February, and has also used her platform to raise money for charity amid natural disasters in Puerto Rico and Mexico.Pons will continue to be represented by Shots Studios and attorney Jon Moonves. WME reps several creators from Shots — which produces digital videos and music, and also furnishes talent management services — including Alesso, Anitta, Anwar Jibawi, Inanna Sarkis, Hannah Stocking, and Rudy Mancuso.
