Kylie Jenner Styles Her Fall Cosmetics Line On New YouTube Channel

Kim Kardashian-West has shown an interest in the YouTube world by collaborating with several online video stars. Now, her half-sister is looking to build up a presence of her own on the world’s top video site. Kylie Jenner has posted a video on her personal channel in which she styles the fall line of her Kylie Cosmetics brand.

While Jenner’s channel is home to two other videos, the 20-year-old starlet calls her latest upload her “first-ever YouTube video.” In it, she and her friend Jordyn Woods model the autumnal palette of her latest line while seated in a space Jenner refers to as her “glam room.” A link in the description lead viewers to the Kylie Cosmetics homepage, where Jenner’s new items will be available on October 6.

Jenner may be new to YouTube, but she is an experienced and powerful creators of digital media. Last year, she posted a cooking web series

on her website. Then, early in 2017, she generated buzz by sharing a pair of “short films” on Snapchat.

As far as YouTube goes, Jenner is not quite a natural. Her delivery is a little stilted, and she lacks the chipper delivery many beauty gurus bring to their videos. Should she choose to post more YouTube clips, she has room to grow.

Of course, no matter how skilled she is at vlogging, Jenner is a mega-star with more than 98 million Instagram followers, and her video has commanded the sort of attention you would expect from someone with that sort of audience. It needed just one day to roll up more than 850,000 views, and will surely gather more in the coming days. If Jenner wants to become a YouTube star, she will be able to scale up her channel with ease.
