Tia Mowry, the actress, author, and entrepreneur who first rose to prominence as the co-star of the 90s sitcom Sister, Sister, is YouTube’s latest mommy vlogger. Mowry is the star of Quick Fix, a new channel she has launched alongside the digital network Kin Community.
On Quick Fix, Mowry will share updates from her home life with her subscribers. She has one child with her husband, actor Cory Hardrict, and her parenting suggestions, whether related to reducing clutter, managing toys, or cooking up school-night dinners, will be a big part of her Quick Fix library. In her first video for the new channel, however, she chose to show off a few hairstyling tips for any viewers who, like her, have curly hair.
Mowry’s partnership with Kin Community was announced back in June
, when the network teamed up with talent agency UTA to produce Quick Fix. The actress is a fitting addition to Kin Community’s roster of lifestyle gurus, including Dulce Candy, Mr. Kate, and Kalel.“Everyone encounters dilemmas in their everyday lives that need a fast solution,” said Mowry in a press release. “As a busy mom, I wanted to create a fun short-form series that offered practical advice to anyone and everyone looking to make their lives a little easier.”
As part of her deal with Kin Community, Mowry, who has more than 11 million followers across all social media platforms, will also share content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. The YouTube portion of Quick Fix is expected to include 20 videos in total.
