Shots Studios Will Help Brazilian Pop Star Anitta Build Her Digital Brand

In 2016, pop star Anitta announced herself to the world by performing at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Now, thanks to a new partnership, the Brazilian performer will be able to make further strides in the international market. She has signed with Shots Studios, which has agreed to manage her and work with her on music videos.

Top Latin American artists have delivered some of the most popular videos on sites like YouTube, and Anitta boasts an impressive digital presence of her own. Her official YouTube channel has more than five million subscribers, and her music video for the song “Paradinha” — which was made with some help from Shots Studios — needed fewer than two months to cross 100 million views.

With Shots’ help, Anitta will continue to establish herself as a multi-lingual, international star. The studio plans to work with its newest partner to create music in English, Spanish, and her native Portuguese. As part of those efforts, she will soon release her first English-language album, which will feature visuals provided by shots.

Shots is best known for working with partners like Rudy Mancuso, Lele Ponsand Anwar Jibawi, all of whom gained large followings on Vine and have since migrated to other platforms. While Shots’ roots are in comedy, it has made music a significant part of its approach as well. Mancuso, for example, has shared a number of original songs and covers on his YouTube channel.

In addition to her Shots deal, Anitta will continue to be represented by talent agency WME.
