Hannah Hart Chats Mental Health, Favorite Recipes, Productivity Hacks In Tumblr Q&A

YouTube megastar Hannah Hart took to Tumblr today to discuss mental health, her favorite recipes, and productivity hacks with fans in a Tumblr Answer Time session — which is the platform’s answer to Reddit’s popular Ask Me Anything (AMA) series.

Hart answered a slew of fan questions, including how she coped with being gay growing up in a homophobic household, as well as her struggles with mental health — both topics she previously addressed in her recent best-selling book, Buffering: Unshared Tales Of A Life Fully Loaded. “There are a lot more people on the planet that have struggled in the same way than I ever thought before,” Hart said of her experience releasing the essay collection. “It feels wonderful to know that we are not alone.”

And because she rose to renown on YouTube for her intoxicated cooking videos, a popular series known as My Drunk Kitchen, Hart shared that her favorite dish to make is anything involving cheese, “like enchiladas” — though really she’ll settle for “anything that turns out edible.”
