Tickets For October’s Third Annual TwitchCon Are On Sale Now

Tickets for TwitchCon — an annual convention that celebrates the streaming platform’s creators, community members, video game developers, and more — are on sale now. Slated for October 20 through 22 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, packages range in price from $89 for a single day to $199 for three-day access.

At the same time, Twitch shared information about how to apply for the second annual TwitchCon Talent Show — a live and streaming showcase that will feature notable performers across theater, comedy, dance, music, magic, art, and more. Prospective participants must submit a video audition here

, and selected performers — who will also receive free admission to TwitchCon as well as a travel stipend — will ultimately be selected by a corporate panel. Any creator who regularly streams to Twitch’s Creative channel is eligible to apply.

TwitchCon, which launched in 2015, also features workshops, live stage shows, and Esports showdowns — though the final event schedule has yet to be announced. (The team is accepting programming suggestions through July 4 right here). Last year’s event hosted more than 35,000 attendees, and organizers have pledged that this year’s outing will include more programming that expands beyond the platform’s gaming roots.
