BBC To Tackle Fake News Epidemic During Inaugural NewFronts Presentation will be making its first appearance at this year’s NewFronts ad conference, the international news site announced today. Its presentation will take place on May 8 at 9:00 am ET. The NewFronts, hosted by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and now in its sixth year, serves as an opportunity for leading video publishers and platforms to showcase their latest initiatives to prospective advertisers.

The BBC will make its NewFronts debuts as event regulars like Yahoo, BuzzFeed, and Fullscreen have all announced in recent weeks that they are opting out of this year’s event in favor of more intimate meetings with brand partners. Joining as first-time presenters are Twitter and Astronauts Wanted.
