The pilots in New Form Digital’s three “incubator series” have evolved into a bevy of series orders across TV and the web. Now, the studio whose backers include Ron Howard and Discovery Communications has rolled out another batch of fresh projects, and as always, it is giving plenty of opportunities to YouTube stars, both behind and in front of the camera.
The pilots included in the latest New Form incubator series, which were first shared by The Hollywood Reporter, all run in the 10-12 minute range and cover a wide variety of genres. Included among the featured projects are a crime thriller led by Jonah Green, a digital talk show hosted by Mitchell Davis and Chris Kendall, and a teen fantasy series created by and starring Alexa Losey.
“Our goal is to tell great stories and provide some of the world’s most original, emerging creators an opportunity to share something completely new and exciting with their audience,” said New Form EVP of originals and development Melissa Schneider.
In total, the latest New Form incubator series includes nine pilots. Details about all of them are available through The Hollywood Reporter.
