YouTube has launched heaps of holiday-themed content this season through subscription service Red — and now the company is bringing some festive cheer to its eponymous Kids app. Five popular children’s creators — including L2M, Cam Anthony, Hayden Summerall, Aaliyah Rose, and Sunny Keller — have banded together to release an original holiday song.
Titled Shooting Stars, the video was shot at YouTube Space LA. It represents part of a larger in-app holiday takeover this month, in which YouTube Kids will spotlight festive shows, holiday-themed music videos, and DIY projects. You can check out a preview of Shooting Stars below and view the full video within the YouTube Kids app here.
L2M is a girl band comprising five BFFs; Cam Anthony is a teen singer who has performed at the White House and NAACP National Convention; Aaliyah Rose is a 14-year-old who was personally tapped by Disney to perform Let It Go at the Radio Disney Music Awards; Hayden Summerall is an actor-singer from Texas; and Sunny Keller hosts the Life Hacks For Kids show on the DreamWorksTV YouTube channel.
Other holiday-themed programming on YouTube Red this month includes the horror series 12 Deadly Days, the Mariah Carey-starring Keys Of Christmas, and the Liza Koshy comedy Jingle Ballin’.
