Tubefilter: How does it feel to have one million subscribers? What do you have to say to your fans?

NikkieTutorials: Honestly, I am at loss for words. I don’t think people realize how many people one million is! I am so grateful, so thankful and call myself very lucky for having so many people loving me, supporting me, but most of all never giving up on me. All I can say to them is thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You are my everything!

TF: You’ve had a rapid rise to fame since you started posting vlogs. What is the most striking way in which your life has changed since then?

NT: My life has changed the most in the fact that people now look up to me. I used to look up to all these picture-perfect stars that always seemed so impossible to be like. And now, weirdly enough, people look up to me. It is a very strange but wonderful feeling!

TF: On a similar note, what do you think has been the key to your success?

NT: I think the key to my success has always been staying true to who I am and showing others that it’s okay to love yourself. I will always be that crazy, makeup-loving life enthusiast and I think people like that.

TF: You post a lot of new videos. Does your schedule ever wear on you? Do you ever think about cutting back?

NT: I upload twice a week (Wednesdays and Sundays) with sometimes an extra video going up on Friday. It can definitely get a little hard every now and then, but somehow something always pops up in my head and I take a go at it. I always want to give my followers the best I can so I never think about cutting back.

TF: Do you think there are any identifiable differences between Dutch YouTubers and those from the US?

NT: The accent! For sure the accent, haha.

TF: Do you have any interest in bringing in fans from outside the Dutch-speaking world? If so, how will you accomplish that?

NT: My number one dedicated country is The States so I think I’m accomplishing it! I love my American followers!

TF: What’s next for your channel? Any fun plans?

NT: I plan on keeping on doing what I do and trying to come up with more fun videos that people will have a laugh with and share with friends.
