Top ‘Minecraft’ YouTube Channel The Diamond Minecart Heads Out On Tour

In each of our last three Tubefilter Gaming Charts, The Diamond Minecart has stood as the number-one gaming channel on YouTube. Now, the man behind that channel is heading out to entertain his fans. Its creator and star, a UK-based YouTuber known only as Dan, will hit four British cities as part of a tour produced and promoted by Endemol Shine UK.

The event series is titled DanTDM on Tour, and it will stop in Brighton, Glasgow, Ipswich, and Milton Keynes between July 30th and August 28th. It will be The Diamond Minecart’s first tour and will attempt to translate the energetic, family-friendly vibe of Dan’s YouTube channel (which is best known for its Minecraft videos) into a real-life spectacle. The stars of the show will be Dan, his pet dog Elly, and several characters from his channel. His most well-known creation is Trayaurus, a Minecraft villager dressed in a doctor’s lab coat.

The Diamond Minecart isn’t just one of YouTube’s most popular gaming channels; it’s one of YouTube’s most popular channels, period. Dan’s videos have attracted more than 10.2 subscribers and scored more than 6.4 billion views. Only 15 channels on YouTube have registered more hits.

“I’m so excited to be going on my first ever live tour,” said Dan in a press release. “I can’t wait to bring my online world to life and invite the audience to come on a DanTDM adventure with me. I hope to meet as many fans as possible along the way and show them what it’s like to live in my world.”

Tickets for individual tour stops start at £15, which translates to roughly $21.57. To make a purchase, or to get more details, check out the tour’s official website.
