Miranda Sings’ Comedy Special Now Available Via Vimeo On Demand

We could all use a little guidance–and Miranda Sings is happy to provide us with all the “Selp Helf” we need. Miranda’s comedy special, first announced last month, has now premiered on Vimeo On Demand.

Selp Helf, which runs for 74 minutes and was filmed earlier this year at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, features the comedic stylings of Miranda, who is the alter ego of Colleen Evans. The special shares its name with a book authored by Evans and published by Gallery Books early in 2015. When it became available for pre-order, the Selp Helf book became a quick bestseller. Given Miranda’s popularity and the success Vimeo has seen with other projects led by YouTube stars, the Selp Helf special is likely to emerge as a top seller in its own right.

“With help from Ballinger’s real-life sister Rachel and husband Joshua Evans, Miranda reaches beyond the satiric character’s signature malapropisms, misspellings and smeared lipstick to encourage confidence and empowerment in Mirfandas of all ages,” reads the special’s description on its Vimeo page. The term “Mirfandas” refers to Miranda’s fans; she has more than 5.6 million subscribers on YouTube.

If you’d like to become a Mirfanda yourself–or if you’re one already–you’re going to want to pick up Miranda’s special on Vimeo. It costs $4.99 to rent and $9.99 to purchase.
