Yahoo Sets March 23rd Release Date For ‘Sin City Saints’

March is going to be a big month at Yahoo Screen. In addition to Community, which will begin its sixth season on March 17th, Yahoo has also announced that Sin City Saints, a sports comedy from executive producer Mike Tollin, will debut on March 23rd.

Sin City Saints, which Yahoo first announced at its Digital Content Newfronts presentation in 2014, centers on a fictional pro basketball team based in Las Vegas. The cast, which was announced in October 2014, includes Andrew Santino as the owner of the Saints, Malin Ackerman as an assistant to the NBA commissioner, and Tom Arnold as a local casino host.

Tollin, a prolific executive who previously dipped into the world of sports comedy as the producer of Arli$$, is one of several high-profile showrunners working with Yahoo Screen. In addition to Community, the digital media company’s video wing will also distribute Other Space, a sci-fi comedy from creator Paul Feig.
