The so-called “Sesame Street for the digital generation” has arrived. Andrew W.K. is the host of Meet Me At The Reck, a new children’s series produced by Maker Studios and packed full of guest stars.
Meet Me At The Reck stars Andrew W.K., the self-proclaimed “king of partying” known for his high-intensity live show. This time, he has toned down his act to suit a family-friendly show set at a local rec center. In the first episode, he searches for a killer prop to use in his next live show. When special guest Jack Black proves unable to help him, he turns to the world of Minecraft, where Mr. Stampy Cat helps him construct a blocky ice throne.
The six episodes of Meet Me At The Reck are available on Maker’s proprietary Maker.TV platform as well as its family-oriented channel, Cartoonium. Other guests include Zach Woods and Mary Doodles, so poke around the released episodes to see what sort of familiar faces show up (and become a certified “recker” along the way).
