Must-Watch Music Videos: ‘Life On Earth’ In Tomorrow’s World Is Beautiful

[Editor’s Note: Two major trends have emerged in the recent history of new media: 1) Music videos are the new music and 2) YouTube is the new MTV. With that in mind and to keep you up to speed with the greatest and latest in this online video category, Tubefilter has partnered with INDMUSIC, YouTube’s largest independent music network, to bring you at least one must-watch music video every week. Aside from the sheer terror and unfathomable pain of having to wake up early enough to catch the school bus, I have relatively fond memories of high school and grade school. For the most part, the kids in the latest video from Tomorrow’s World look like they will have fond memories, too.

Tomorrow’s World is the side project of Jean Benoit Dunckel

and Lou Hayter, better known as members of legendary electronic group Air and New Young Pony Club, respectively. Their most recent video for ‘Life on Earth‘ is a glimpse at a day in the life of school children from the boredom of math class up until the insane running of the bulls that is the final bell. All in all, a pretty low key and typical school experience.

The tune is entrancing and melodic. It completes sonically what the video presents to you visually; that the inherent beauty of a day on Earth can be as simple and mesmerizing as a normal day at school.

Tomorrow’s World started on a lark with the duo laying down a single track. Things went so well they now have a full length debut album out now and 2014 tour dates coming soon. Make sure you check back and subscribe here, because with debut visuals this strong this is sure to be a pairing that’s going to drop more great content soon.
