Above Average Has A New Web Series About Hangovers, Annoying Couples

Since many of the comedians who feature on Above Average seem destined to move on to Saturday Night Live, it’s new web series are always worth keeping an eye on. They all feature young bright comedic actors, and the channel’s two latest entries are no exceptions. Above Average has dropped two new web series in one week: Charles, Your Hangover and That Couple You Know.

Charles, Your Hangover debuted on January 14th, and stars Tory Stanton as a walking, talking hangover who comes like the grim reaper after a long night of drinking. In the first episode, Stanton tortures a teacher played by Orange Is The New Black‘s Lauren Lupkus. New installments will arrive weekly.

The better of the two debuts, however, is The Couple You Know. Josh Ruben, formerly of CollegeHumor, joins UCBer Jocelyn DeBoer to form a power couple that would be irritating in real life but is comically brilliant on screen.

So yeah, Above Average isn’t slowing down any time soon. These two debuts may not have any SNL cast members in them (yet), but they’re still plenty funny.
