Which UGC videos ruled 2013? Jukin Video has the answer. In announcing the 12 finalists for the Video of the Year competition, the platform has released a compilation of the best viral videos of 2013, a collection that satisfies our need for amazing wins and vicious fails.
The video feels like those Vine compilations that have taken the Internet by storm this year, except that the entries have been culled from platforms all over the Internet. Some choices–like the seal that steals a fish and the girl who lights her hair on fire with a curling iron–you’ve probably seen before, but I guarantee there are at least a few entries that skirted the average UGC lover’s radar over the past 12 months.
The last twelve entries are the finalists for Jukin Video’s competition, for which voting ends on December 29th. Personally, I don’t see any way my favorite seal can lose this one, but he is facing some worthy competition. Whether you agree with me or not, you can make your voice heard by voting on the Jukin Video website.
