WARNING: Massive Game of Thrones spoilers ahead. If you haven’t seen season 3, episode 9, stop whatever you’re doing and go watch it.
The second-to-last episode of Game of Thrones‘ third season sent shockwaves across the Internet when it ended with the grisly murder of two main characters, several other side characters, and thousands of Stark bannermen in an event known as the ‘Red Wedding‘.
After the episode, several reaction videos appeared, where savvy book readers who knew what would happen filmed their unaware friends’ reaction to the horrific scene. One compilation of the various reactions has scored millions of views and features way more weeping than you would expect from a TV show. Now, several Game of Thrones cast members have submitted their own reactions, with Maisie Williams (who plays Arya Stark) taking to Vine to joke about the unbelievable plot twist.
Williams’ video shows the 16 year old actress making funny faces and responding in spoiler-tastic fashion to the on-screen murder of her character’s brother and mother. It can accurately described as ‘very silly’.
MachinimaETC has also posted a video that includes an interview with Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister. Headey notes that she’s as upset about some of her friends losing their roles in the show as she is about the actual death. Well played, Queen Cersei.
It would behoove the Game of Thrones cast to not be so jokey. Given George R.R. Martin’s proclivity for killing off anyone and everyone, each one of these actors could be next.
