Adam DeVine Shaves His Way Into The ‘Dude House’ On Funny Or Die

Adam DeVine has launched a new web series to show off just how much of a dude he is. The Workaholics actor is the star of the fictional Broxygen Network, which brings all sort of silly programming for guys to Funny or Die.

Two videos have been released thus far, with each one giving us an inside look at a different Broxygen show. The first brings viewers inside The Special Unit’s Unit, which patrols the city looking for men with out of control body hair, while the second, Dude House, is a parody of Big Brother and other similar reality shows.

If the videos seem oddly focused on shaving and hair, it’s because they were born that way; the Broxygen shorts are branded content for Philips Norelco shavers, and there little attempt to hide this fact. The final takeaway (“If you’ve got the right shave, you’ll get the right babe.”) is exactly the same as in those shaving commercials where a girl keeps touching a guy’s clean-shaven face

. DeVine manages to make this into a workable comedy short thanks to his great comedic timing.

“Evidently, Norelco thinks I look like a dude who really takes good care of his chest, back, and ball sack,” said DeVine. “They’re like, ‘That guy really does a good job trimming.’ Luckily they were right and Funny or Die, I really respect them. I think they’re a great website and put out a lot of great stuff.”

You heard it here first, gents. Keep your face clean-shaven and one day you too can have a cameo on the new season of Arrested Development.
