Lindsey Stirling can now add another network television appearance to her already impressive resume.
The 26-year-old violinist-slash-dancer-slash-performance-artist (Editor’s Aside: It’s now okay to use “slash” as a conjunction) with a penchant for EDM and in possession of over 2 million YouTube subscribers and 300+ million views played the accompanying music for pro-dancers-turned-engaged-couple Allison Holker and Stephen Boss during the duo’s pumped up routine on Dancing With the Stars. Stirling performed a live rendition of her smash hit Crystallize while gracefully making her way around the stage. Her presence was received with much delight from the dancers, the in-studio audience, and everyone at home watching ABC.
The primetime, network TV appearance was Stirling’s first since she competed in 2007 on America’s Got Talent (where she placed fifth) and could very well have been orchestrated by Lady Gaga’s manager, Troy Carter. News broke just last week that the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Atom Factory (and speaker at Social Media Week Los Angeles) signed Stirling and intends to build upon her well-established online video and social media presence.
