Daymon Patterson (aka Daym Drops) really likes to eat food. The YouTube vlogger’s most popular video has him enthusiastically chowing down on a Five Guys burger. His exuberance was so evident and ripe for celebration that The Gregory Brothers even created an auto-tune remix of the video. Now, Patterson will share his passion for food on the Travel Channel, where he will be the face of a new show, Best Daym Takeout.
Best Daym Takeout will feature Patterson as he travels across the country and eats a delicious smorgasbord of food wherever he goes. The show sounds similar to the Food Network’s Diners Drive-Ins, and Dives, except Patterson is far less spiky than Guy Fieri and is much less likely to receive a hilariously scathing review in the New York Times.
