LUNA Bar, despite being a delicious product for both genders, is known for specifically marketing itself to active, healthy ladies. Naturally, the company’s YouTube channel is taking the same approach. In February, LUNA Bar launched Debunking the Diet, a series that attempts to determine the veracity of several widely-held beliefs about healthy eating.
The first episode tells viewers why it’s OK to eat food after 8 PM (or at least no different from eating at any other time), utilizing woman on the street interviews and expert opinions to make its point. Aziz Ansari will be very pleased.
Though Debunking the Diet has a negative-sounding name, not all of the episodes are devoted to putting down food myths. The second episode instead breaks down the components of a healthy diet, noting that you can’t go wrong with a little more fiber.
As a man, I’m not sure if I’m breaking any laws by watching Debunking the Diet, and while the show is certainly aimed at women, it resembles its creator’s trademark bar in its universal deliciousness.
