Lenox Avenue Set To Debut On October 29 With Premiere Event In NYC

A few weeks ago, we brought you a preview of Lenox Avenue, the long-awaited web series from creator Al Thompson. The show will be released this coming Monday, October 29, at LenoxAveSeries.com. To inaugurate the series, Tubefilter is partnering with Thompson to host a Lenox Avenue launch party in New York City.

The event will start at 6 PM on Monday and will take place at the Astor Row Cafe, which is located at (you guessed it) 404 Lenox Avenue in Harlem. Thompson, who also plays one of the series leads, will be in attendance alongside his co-stars, Dorian Missick and Ryan Vigilant. Lenox Avenue will be screened at the event, so make sure to get there early so you don’t miss any of it.

Lenox Avenue initially had a distribution deal in place with BET, but the deal fell through and the series will only be available (for now) at its official site

and on Thompson’s YouTube channel. Thompson previously created the critically-acclaimed Johnny B. Homeless series as well as Odessa, a science fiction drama. Both of these series won top honors at previous installments of the New York Television Festival (which, by the way, is currently going on right now in the Big Apple). If you’re in the NYC area and you’d like a chance to meet one of the most dynamic creators in the online video industry, be sure to check out the Lenox Avenue premiere. For more details and to RSVP, check out the event’s Facebook page. We hope to see you there!
