Conan O’Brien Gets His Charlie Rose on in Celebrity Interview Web Series

Once the dust settled after the late night talk show hullabaloo of January 2010, Conan O’Brien turned to a medium to assemble and mobilize his fan base that was previously underutilized by any of his peers (at least at his time slot): Twitter. O’Brien’s first (in-person and/or virtual) public appearance after his latest installment of the Late Show came by way of the social and microblogging network. The tweets soon snowballed into a national tour

, the formation of the official destination and banner of O’Brien fanatics Team Coco, at least one live show on YouTube, and early success of Conan on TBS.

Now, the magna cum laude Harvard grad is headed back to the internet to get his celebrity interview on in a style that’s way less about Insult Dogs and comedy and more about what happens when O’Brien isn’t confined to a late night talk show television form and starts getting real. Team Coco promises the conversations on Serious Jibber-Jabber will be candid, compelling, and very long.

While we do know who is picking up the bill for Serious Jibber-Jabber (AT&T is on board as the Presenting Sponsor), we don’t yet know who will be the first guest of O’Brien’s latest (of what may be many) original web series. Check out the details over at Team Coco and stay tuned.
