Isabella Rossellini Goes from Porno to Parenting

Isabella Rossellini’s entomological web series depicting hardcore bug on bag and animal action with a Feillini-inspired and DIY aesthetic was a hit for Sundance.

Green Porno (which stars Rossellini, who describes and reeanacts medically accurate insect and animal procreation) and it’s follow-up series Seduce Me (which stars Rossellini, who describes and reenacts zoologically accurate insect and animal courtship) garnered millions of views and critical acclaim both from the entertainment and art worlds since the program’s premiere in early 2008. Rossellini’s showcased her work online and all over the globe in such esteemed cultural institutions as the Museum of Natural History in London and the Royal Ontario Museum.

Rossellini initially conceived of Green Porno after she realized there was a big hole to fill in the green industry. “You have green food and green energy,” the actress and model said live and on stage from the Digitas 2011 NewFront

, “but no green porno.”

Now that she’s delved into insect and animal copulation and sedution, Rosellini is ready to move onto motherhood. “Mommas will include the ways the mommas – and some poppas – in nature bring up their babies,” Rossellini announced. She promises the series will have the same look, feel, and spice of Green Porno and Seduce Me.

No word yet on when Mommas will debut, but Rossellini’s courting brands as we speak. Any mom-oriented advertiser with a reverence for art and a little risque should cut her a check. I’m guessing this one is going to be great.
