Mike Relm Headlines Next New Creators Lineup

Next New Networks announced that YouTube mash-up superstar Mike Relm will be joining the newest batch of producers of the Next New Creator Program, which since its launch in 2009 has helped independent web series producers seeking distribution, promotion, production, and monetization. Ten new producers will be joining the 30 already in the program, which include the Streamy Award winning Gregory Brothers of Auto-Tune The NewsThe new additions will bring the program’s aggregate audience to over 43 million views per month.

“Today, we welcome 10 new creators to the Next New Creators program who represent the diversity of the talent that exists on the web today,” said Kathleen Grace, VP of programming at Next New Networks. “In the last eight months since its launch, the program has been a tremendous success that continually brings us creative, fresh web talent. We’re looking forward to helping this new class of creators grow and mature and build an even wider audience through our now established Next New Creators program.”

Mike Relm, whose YouTube page Relmvision features his signature video remixes of movie trailers and commercials, will be collaborating with the Barely Political and Barely Digital networks, and four independent producers of food-related programming will be joining Hungry Nation, Next New Networks’ online food network for the YouTube generation. Andrea Feczko, a longtime star of Barely Digital series such as “Key of Awesome” and “Tech Know,” joins the program with three creator-owned shows: “Z-List,” a mockumentary of Andrea’s journey toward Internet stardom using advice from The Hills’ Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s book How to Be Famous; “Hot Mess,” a countdown show in which Andrea looks at the top three celebrity messes of the week; and “Accent Goggles,” an exclusive series of Andrea’s wild and exotic global travels;
Alex Negrete’s “Keep the Heat,” a musical comedy show focusing on all aspects of pop culture and entertainment;
“Candy Slice Comedy,” a collective of female writers, performers and crack-up artists based in New York City;
“Jet Set Zero,” the story of four travelers who start with almost nothing and spend 90 days in a foreign country;
Tracy Hepler’s “EcoCurious,” a new DIY-inspired show with eco-flair, which joins Next New Networks’ popular style network, ThreadBanger.
