The First Annual Onfront NYC is Tomorrow!

We’re tying up loose ends for the first annual Onfronts and are extremely excited about the event. OnfrontNYC is designed to articulate the value of online entertainment with a keynote from industry-leader and Generate founder, Jordan Levin, followed by presentations from leading digital entertainment studios, a panel discussion with some prominent figures at the leading digital advertising agencies, and screenings of impressive independent submissions.

We’re proud to announce our speed-presentation emcee, the wacky, wry and lovely Grace from My Damn Channel‘s Daily Grace.

We appreciate the support of our sponsors Delve Networks, Scanscout, CJP Digital, Metranome, PlaceVine and TubeMogul. Stay tuned for an upcoming post featuring videos screened at The Onfronts via a customized Delve player plus a Metranome giveaway contest.

OnfrontNYC will also feature some exciting sneak peaks of upcoming shows:

Crackle will screen a clip from its highly anticipated actioner, The Bannen Way along with scenes from the first season of its hit original female assassin series Angel of Death. Vuguru, the new media studio owned by Michael Eisner’s Tornante Company will world-premiere footage from the upcoming season of its genre-defining Prom Queen franchise, and Illeana Douglas

will be on hand to officially announce what’s “in store” for the second season of her critically-acclaimed Web comedy, Easy to Assemble, which follows Douglas and her celebrity friends as they eschew the Hollywood lifestyle for ‘normal lives’ working at the Burbank IKEA.

In the past few years, online entertainment has demonstrated its value as a highly engaging  medium with devoted communities, strong metrics, and unprecedented interactivity, but the market for advertising against this emerging artform has barely begun to take shape.

The Onfronts are a conversation-starter for content creators and advertisers, and OnfrontNYC 2009 is just the first step in re-envisioning this marketplace.  How does the new medium target and engage the right audiences? What are the emerging metrics? What do brands need to more fully engage?

This inaugural event is meant to raise the profile of online entertainment and start conversations about the benefits of an open entertainment landscape for both creators and advertisers.

Onfront NYC is open to select content partners, media planners, advertising agencies and brand advertisers. If you meet these criteria and would like to join us tomorrow, please contact us here.
