College Humor is a true pioneer of internet entertainment.
The quality and popularity of their content speaks for itself. And their new MTV show makes a conversation with these wacky, irreverent internet-cum-cable stars all the more compelling. I hope you’ll stop by for some stories from behind the scenes followed by drinks and networking.
How could you pass up the opportunity to see this in the flesh?
Last month, we kick-started our official involvement with Big Screen Little Screen – The New York Web Television Meetup with a very interesting conversation with Independent Film Channel. VP of Digital Media Craig Parks and Executive Producer Colin Moore discussed the evolution of IFC’s digital strategy and their approach to developing and promoting quality content with an independent spirit.
I was particularly impressed with their decisions to build their brand by promoting great content that isn’t necessarily the most advertiser friendly and their commitment to elevating the awarness of this unique medium by leveraging their cable assets through Automat and MediaLab.
