Jason Calacanis, the guy who started Weblogs Inc, which sold to AOL in October 2005 for a reported $25 million, believes that Web 3.0 will be driven by human-powered experiences. That’s why he’s created Mahalo, a search and discovery service powered by humans.
Mahalo is a useful service free of spammers and “Search Engine Optimizers” that threaten to ruin the internet for all of us, but Calacanis’ newest project, Mahalo Daily, set to launch this coming Moday, may prove to be his greatest work yet.
For those of us who spend our lives watching internet-TV, this promo’s got it all. Let’s hope the daily show lives up to its promo.
